Can all of the stains on my dress be removed?
 

No dress cleaning service can guarantee 100% stain removal, however we will always endevour to get your dress as clean as possible. We will always try our very best to ensure any stains are removed, however in some instances it may not be possible to remove all marks and stains, due to the delicate material of the dress/how long the stains have been set. We always recommend getting your dress cleaned sooner rather than later. We will let you know if we think there are going to be any stains that we are unable to remove.

Are there any risks to embellishments?

For dresses with embellishments, such as beading, buttons, sequins and belts, there is always some additional risk involved in the cleaning process, however we will always do our best to alleviate this risk as much as possible. We will always handle your dress with the utmost care.

Is my dress insured?

Dresses are insured for loss and damage for 50% of the purchase price whilst in transit and where it is found that the cleaning method is at fault. In the extremely unlikely event that a claim is necessary, an independent valuation may be required.

My dress got slightly damaged on my wedding day, do you repair dresses?

Unfortunatley, our service does not include any repairs to your dress.

Why should I have my dress boxed?

Very important question! Having your dress boxed in one of our beautiful specialist wedding dress storage boxes is the best way to prevent your dress from being damaged over time. Our specialist boxes allow the dress fabric the breathe, and also protect the dress from dust and sunlight.

How long does the cleaning process take?

The dress cleaning process takes around four to six weeks, however, if you need your dress sooner for a second wedding date after an abroad wedding, please let us know and we will do our best to meet your deadlines.

How do I get my wedding dress to you?

At the moment we are only taking orders within Somerset, North Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Devon. Should you not be able to drop your dress off to our local drop off point, So Gorgeous Bridal BS22 6JE, we can organise a pick up and drop off service for you at an additional cost. Please fill out our contact form to start the booking process and we will be in contact from there.
